Behavioural and Social Studies
The Behavioural and Social Sciences Research at IOM is led by Richard Graveling.
Our research interests are wide ranging and include psychosocial factors at work (job satisfaction, job clarity, role conflict), perceptions of risk amongst workers, communications, occupational stress and the impact these have on the health, safety and well-being of people at work. We aim to provide a better understanding of how these issues may affect people's health so that steps can be taken to improve the working environment.
